17.2.4 International Collaboration for SDG Best Practices: SEA Workshop 2024
In 2024, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), through the Centre of Excellence for Biomass Utilization (CoEBU), advanced international collaboration on SDG best practices by participating in the SEA Workshop on Environmentally Green Technology for Sustainable Development and Net Zero Emission, hosted by National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan (29 October–9 November 2024).
The workshop brought together experts and participants from multiple countries to share knowledge and strategies on renewable energy, CO₂ capture, waste-to-value technologies, and green energy applications. UniMAP’s participation facilitated knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and academic networking, contributing to capacity building and the dissemination of best practices in sustainable development. This initiative supports global SDG implementation, demonstrating UniMAP’s commitment to advancing sustainability through international partnerships and cooperation.
