UniMAP has implemented measures to maximise water reuse across the university. One of the key initiatives is the adoption of the rainwater harvesting concept, where collected rainwater is reused for non-potable purposes such as landscape irrigation, cleaning, and other campus needs

Premises inspection and grading are conducted according to strict standards, covering cleanliness, worker vaccination status, food storage, and hygiene practices. Operators receive guidance on food safety, and certificates are awarded with grades A, B, or C.

At UniMAP, waste disposal is managed systematically to ensure a clean, safe, and sustainable campus environment.

The Waste Tracking System measures the amount of recycled waste in the university to reduce the volume sent to landfills. Center of Sustainable Campus and Energy Management (COSCEM) conducts monthly recycling collections, and the data is recorded in the COSCEM dashboard.
